Families of people killed in Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302 crash are demanding justice and compensation from the Airlines and Boeing.

Attorneys at Hyde and Swigart, APC and Kazerouni Law Group, APC have been retained by the families of multiple passengers of Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302 that crashed killing all 157 people on board.

On Sunday, March 10, a brand-new Boeing 737 MAX 8 fell from the sky shortly after takeoff.

On March 29, 2019, The Wall Street Journal published a report stating that according to the publication’s sources an automated flight-control system, called MCAS, misfired in both the Ethiopian Airlines flight earlier this month and a Lion Air Flight in Indonesia which crashed less than five months earlier. The two crashes claimed 346 lives.

The report came a day after a lawsuit was filed in a Chicago federal court by the family of one of the victims of the Ethiopian crash, Jackson Musoni, a citizen of Rwanda. It alleges that Boeing had defectively designed the automated flight control system that caused the crash.

On March 30, 2019, our co-counsel Abbas Kazerounian held a town-hall meeting in Nakuru, Kenya.  He provided those in attendance information regarding legal remedies available to them along with the potential pitfalls of signing or accepting preliminary offers presented to them by Ethiopian Airlines or other parties.

Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302 departed Addis Ababa, Ethiopia for Nairobi, Kenya at 8:38 AM but just six minutes after departure, the aircraft suddenly began to experience abnormal variations in its altitude and airspeed. The pilot notified air traffic control and was granted permission to return to Addis Ababa. Moments later, Flight 302 was lost from radar and crashed 17 miles southeast of the airport, killing all 157 people on board.

Hyde and Swigart, APC and Kazerouni Law Group offer to review correspondence from Ethiopian Airlines or their insurer to family members of crash victims. We will review the documents and correspondence and provide our legal advice to the family or their representative, free at no charge.

Our attorneys are expressing their deepest condolences to the families of passengers of the Flight 302.
